RUDE

Fiction Series - 4 episodes of 52 minutes (4 episodes of 52 minutes)

Script and Direction/Script and Direction: Alice Gouveia

Each story portrays characters of different sexualities in the Agreste region of Pernambuco, a region marked by discourses linked to patriarchy and, for this reason, a daily scene of violence and intolerance. Based on real cases of gender reassignment, physical and verbal violence against homosexuals and women and identity crises that permeate the LGBTQIA+ universe. The series will cast, with drama and a touch of humor but always with a strong realism, the main themes that point to discussions of new ways of conceiving sexuality not based on the masculine and feminine binomial.
